Useing modlers styrene plastic available at any hobby shop, you can easily construct any of these shop items...
These 3 little projects can be constructed in about an hours time at a cost of about $8.00 to $10.00.

I use alot of Johnny Lightning parts for my dioramas because the have the most detail and are easy to come by and inexpensive. |

Testors model cement works great with the styrene plastic. Dries quick too...
1. Useing sheet plastic and "L" shaped corner strips, cut 4 shelves about 3/8 X 1 5/8 inches. 2. Cut 4 corner supports 1 1/8 inches. 3. Use 1/4 X 1/4 blusawooc pieces for spacers and run a bead of glue on the inside of the "L" corner supports (one at a time) and place flush with the top shelf. 4. Repeat the other 3 corners.

Shop Shelves:
Let the glue dry completely and sand smooth and level. |

Tire Rack
1. Cut the large ends from a large paperslip. 2. Cut 4 tire supports from the square styrene plastic strips 1 1/2 inches 3. Drill holes at the end of each tire support the size of the paperclip.

Use Super Glue on this one as it will bond to the metal paperclip.
4. Space the tire supports evenly so you can place the spare tires easily, and glue into place. Let dry completely. |

Workbench:
1. Cut from sheet plastic, the bench top 3/4 X 1 3/4 inches. 2. From the square plastic, cut 2 bench top supports (front and back) 1 3/8 inches, and 2 end top supports about 3/8 inches strong. 3. Glue the legs to the end of the front and back top supports. 4 Glue to the bench top and glue the end top supports in between the front and back supports, with legs attached.

Finished workbench.
After glue has dried, sand smooth and level. Spray with regular auto primer and let dry. |
